“Your Labour Rights” Hackathon Awards Ceremony

On October 21, the “Your labour rights” hackathon awards ceremony was held at the Microsoft Innovation Center. the winning teams of the competition were announced.

On October 20 and 21, 10 Hackathon participating teams developed developed ideas and innovative solutions in the field of labor law with the help of mentors. During the hackathon, the following directions were considered priority:

– raising awareness of labor rights

– increasing the transparency of government decisions

– civil control of labor rights

The participants had to develop such ideas that would be seasoned with technological solutions.

The winners

FBF team

FBF proposed the MultiCube technology, which is designed for people with blindness. The technology is a screen through which any text is translated into the Braille alphabet; It will give a new one features, functions and most importantly autonomy.

The team won the 1st prize of €5,000

TheMain team

Since people don’t like to read boring and unclear texts, the team suggested labor rights

introduce through a game that will introduce people to their strengths through simple questions. The game will be who wants to become a millionaire will be advertised on social networks with the prototype of the game, mobile version.

The team won the 2nd prize of €4,000

CitizenLab team

The team proposed the creation of a website consisting of 2 main sections. The first section is dedicated awareness, and the second is violation of the right after using the information available in the first section in case of understanding, it is possible to submit a complaint to the relevant institutions.

The team won the 3rd prize of 3000 euros.
